Abstract

Mediterranean poetical discurse is significantly founded on the traditional way of thinking. First and foremost, this means that the culture is formed on the idea of an identity card to which the mentioned place belongs. By transfering, imitating, paraphrasing that specific type of hierarchy (literary values, ideas, objects), even with their deconstruction on one hand, the ideologically historical coercion is abandoned and on the other hand, in the process of petrification, traditional discurses become the position of a new ideological practice. Mediterranean discurse, above all, determines the accumulation of heterogeneity (historical, geographical, linguistical etc.) but with some common values, which make of them a relativelly encircled system. In that context the poetry of Petar Opačić, Srećko Diana and Andriana Škunca is examined.
