Abstract

The author mentions twelve arguments due to which the proposed reform of the system of education, based on the methodology of the document entitled The Integral Curricular Reform, might cause an aggravation of the present state of the educational system. The author moreover lists critical reviews of the proposed document by 43 authors – scientists and experts from various faculties within the Universities of Zagreb and Split, the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, various institutes, agencies, primary and secondary schools.
Based on the analysis of the quoted opinions, the author holds it necessary to conduct a thorough review of the proposed document, as well as a comprehensive staffing of subject committees and developmental concepts.
