Abstract

During June and July 2017 an archaeological research of the Pakrac – Stari Grad site was carried out. Based on georadar research, three probes were established. All three yielded interesting results, although not always such as were expected. Four meters wide walls of one of the Pakrac towers were discovered (Probe 3), as well as the walls of a solid and well-built structure – possible remains of the gothic Hospitaller Church in the backyard of the city (Probe 1) and numerous walls and movable finds, mainly dating to the times of the Ottoman rule over the town (Probe 2).
