One vote in favour of Franjo Marković

Abstract

In the event of 70‘h anniversary of the death of the Croatian romantic
writer Franjo Markovic (1845—1914) the author tries to incite the interest for the researching and interpreting of the works of this poet, epic writer, playwright, critic, essayist and philosopher. The author tries to stimulate the new attitude towards Croatian literary work of the past century and point out Markovid’s importance and stimulative function which is unduly being forgotten.
