Liability of the lessee for safety of navigation : [case review]

Abstract

Lessee is possessor of the ship and he undertakes a maritime venture. He shall be liable for obligations arising from the navigation and the employment of the ship like ship operator. Like operator he exploits ship and he is liable for keep in a good repair navigational char and ship's equipment. Lessee shall organize the supervision of works relate to the safety of navigation and failure of that is the offence. For the offence shall be fined also the responsible person in the commercial company.
