Further she continues with the analysis of the specific legal regime and the breadth of the exclusive economic zone. The author gives examples of national laws of States, which proclaimed the exclusive economic zone. The topic of the second part of the book is ''The exclusive economic zone and coastal States''. In this part of the book the author also analyses: conservation of the living resources, utilization of the living resources, stocks occurring within the exclusive economic zones of two or more coastal States or both within the exclusive economic zone and in an area beyond and adjacent, marine mammals, anadromus stocks and sedentary species.
