Abstract
On the basis of canonical relations between measures of flexibility and other motoric abilities measures, taken on the representative sample of 693 males, it can be concluded:
(1) that in flexibility measures space, the existence of one unique latent dimension can be expected
(2) that tere exist statistically significant relations between flexibility space and coordination, repetitive and static strength spaces. Relations are based on the regulative motoric mechanisms which are, contrary to hypothesis, more complex than tonus and synergetic regulation mechanism.
(3) that manifestation of motoric reactions of flexibility type and those of absolute strength type are greatly influenced by anthropometric characteristics, which can mask real canonical relationships between flexibility and other motoric abilities.
