Abstract

The sample of 633 female subjects, aged 18 to 18, (± 6 months) and clinically healthy was used in application of 44 balance tests, repeated 8 times, with the aim to assess reliability, validity, sensitivity and objectivity of these tests.
It was established that reliability indexes of most tests were relatively high. All eight items of each individual balance test doubtlessly belong to one common manifest space with the possible exception of these tests HGF, HGL, HGL5WB and JC5W2.
On the basis of the calculated metric characteristics of 44 instruments for assessment of balance it can be stated that all measuring instruments belong to the population of measured with satisfactory metric characteristics.
