Abstract

Scale insects are pests that can cause economically significant damage to vines. From the family Coccidae, these are Pulvinaria vitis Linnaeus, Parthenolecanium corni Bouché, Parthenolecanium persicae Fabricius and Neopulvinaria innumerabilis Rathvon and from family Pseudococcidae Planococcus ficus Signoret.
