The analysis of correlation between the primary motor abilities and the system for assessment of achievement in dance

Abstract

The study involved 112 students and aimed to establish the relation between the primary motor abilities and each individual criterion variable used to assess achievement in dance.
Only one criterion variable could not be anticipated from the system of primary motor dimensions, while a part of the explicable variability of all other criterion variables was mainly the result of coordination of rythmic structures, balance and explosive force.
