DEVELOPMENT OF KONČAR THROUGHOUT HUNDRED YEARS OF HISTORY

Abstract
Throughout its 100-year life, the company has constantly changed and adapted to the domestic and foreign markets, social economic opportunities and always upcoming new technologies as well as the needs of the environment in which it operated. Its history was created by thousands employees of KONČAR, and many of them achieved great careers in academia, transferring knowledge and experience to new generations of engineers and specialists, but also spreading the acquired knowledge through the publication of papers about their technical and technological achievements. The paper presents a historical overview of the technical and technological development of KONČAR over 100 years and prominent individuals who created changes but also started the development of production program and technologies and left perhaps the deepest trace.
