Abstract

The basis of Holzer´s procedure for determination of frame natural frequencies and modes of vibration are presented in this paper. The method for determination of dynamic characteristics of the bracket which is based on Holzer-Myklestad procedure, is analysed and proposed here. In this procedure the problem of rotation the bracket end at natural vibrations is solved, so at the fixed end of the bracket, the rotation is approximately zero and corresponding displacement is always calculated for the selected frequency. This procedure is suitable for the control of results obtained using computers and in the teaching process of students and beginners on dynamic characteristics of the bracket structures.
