Goya: Miroslav Krleža's undisclosed dramatic vision

Abstract

The argument deals with the unpublished drama manuscript by Miroslav Krleža, dedicated to the renowned Spanish painter Francisco Goya. Attempting to provisionally date the manuscript, the article offers an interpretation which intends to highlight similarities between the unpublished autograph and Krleža’s essay “Francisco José Goya y Lucientes” from 1926. An appendix contains the complete transcription of the unedited manuscript
