Abstract

Wishing to question the high school population attitude toward the EU, as well as the level of their knowledge about the Union that Croatia wants to be a member state, and processes they witness daily, Administrative Department for Education, Culture, Sport and Technical Culture of Zagreb County bas conducted research about the EU covering seven high schools in Zagreb County area.
The research's result analysis about history, function and contemporary processes in the EU shows that the education system is inadequate and not adjusted to the moment of Croatia's effort to become a member of the EU.
