Abstract

The calibration baseline of the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb was made for the needs of calibrating electro-optical distance meters, examination of the accuracy of all distance meter types, and for obtaining one common scale for measuring long distances up to 6000 m on the territory of Croatia. Designing the calibration baseline required a special attention paid to analyzing the inter-pillar distances which should enable control of all known and otherwise in literature recorded errors of the electro-optical distance meters.
