Abstract

The paper presents an analysis of the technical and technological parameters of bookbinding products, the parameter systematization within different units of binding methods (machine, in-line) was carried out for all bookbinding products, which was followed by their comparison. With this approach, a detailed insight into the constituent elements of the product, judgment of technological systems and used technology analysis in bookkeeping was achieved. Based on the conducted research, the certain similarities and differences within certain technological systems of book production were determined. The frequency of repetition of binding characteristics and technologies are shown in the research results. The paper presents the facts about which technological systems and technologies can be economically used on the Croatian market. Presented products in this research, which enter bookbinding technology systems, were collected and proposed within a one-year business plan that is characteristic of micro and small companies in the RH. Guidelines for the development of technological infrastructure and a better understanding of complex technological binding systems are also presented in the paper.
