Abstract
Pedagogical research advocates a humanistic approach that promotes the holistic development of the individual, so the goal of education is not just the acquisition of knowledge, but respect for his interests and needs, where the intellectual and emotional features of development are equaly important. In order to develop students' responsibility, tolerance, critical thinking, independence, and successful communication, responsible, and moral teachers-witnesses to values are necessary. Professionally competent teachers should be aware of the implicit influences inside and outside the educational institution, which affect the culture of the school and the adoption of the core values of all stakeholders. Today, more than ever, it is necessary to be guided by the principles of the pedagogy of effective love, developed by don Bosco who by his own example educated children and established the foundations of a preventive system based on love for children.
