Abstract

The dynamic development of Brač Airport resulted in numerous reconstructions, renovations and innovations aimed at increasing the volume of traffic and improving operability. The success of individual interventions as solved tasks was evaluated on the basis of: 1) speed of implementation from design to realization, 2) preservation of traffic safety and uninterrupted functionality, 3) optimization of costs, 4) application of innovative and rational solutions. Effective innovative solutions are the algorithms of check table calculators, which through the research projects of the Intelligent Systems course at the Electrical Engineering Department of TVZ found their application in exercises and concrete confirmation in practice at airports. The paper presents application paradigms at Brač Airport, but also in projects of other airports.
