Abstract

Fractional calculus implies the use of integrals and derivatives of real or complex order. The paper presents the basic terms and properties of the Riemann–Liouville fractional integral and its fractional derivative, applied to some functions. The case of the fractional derivative of order 1/2, i.e. half-derivative, is especially emphasized.
