The Perception of Agricultural Support Service Representatives on Climate Change

Abstract
The paper presents the results of a field research, with a sample of representatives of agricultural support services in the area of Adriatic Croatia. These are the representatives of services at a national and regional level, associations, and the academia. The aim was to examine the representatives’ opinions on a general climate change and their attitudes toward the effects and consequences of the climate change and to check whether there are significant differences depending on the location and the type of service. The representatives mostly agree with the statements about general climate change and the statements about the effects and consequences of climate change. Several significant differences were detected in the opinions and attitudes of service representatives in relation to the location. Based on the results, further training of agricultural support service representatives is recommended.
