A new SU(3) classification of vector mesons

Abstract
The Gell - Mann - Okubo mass formula for vectons is examined. It is shown that if we include the B-mesons in the list of vectons, the G-0 mass formula is exactly satisfied. This leads us to the existence of two octets of vecton and suggests that the w - cp mixing can be abandoned. Further consequences of this assumption are considered.
