Motion of a free electron in a uniform magnetic and electric field

Abstract

In the present paper, the eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of a free-electron, moving in a uniform magnetic field ll parallel to the z-axis , and a uniform electric field →E(EX, EY ,EZ) , are found and expressed in a closed form.
