Abstract

This research work deals with criteria problems and definition of new visual aspects of landscape after constructing largeroads,
train routs, and hydroelectric power stations. On three models the author examines possible and common aspects ofvaluating these changes. It is possible to establish some objective ways
of measuring visual changes, they are: geometrical rules in space, diversity in environmental expression, harmony of colors and textures, usage of autochthonous trees and possibilitles of certain mimicry and dovetaiting. New structures have to correspond to landscape and to be in harmony with it. In planning and shaping large corridors through the space all landscape characteristics have to be taken in consideration. In this way not only natural, but also the aesthetic harmony wouldbe ensured.
