Abstract

Akutizacija kroničnog zatajenja jetre (engl. acute-on-chronic liver failure, ACLF) predstavlja životno ugrožavajući sindrom karakteriziran akutnim pogoršanjem funkcije jetre i zatajenjem drugih organa u bolesnika s kroničnom bolešću jetre. Bakterijske infekcije su najčešći okidači, iako su virusni i zoonotski patogeni često nedostatno prepoznati. Donosimo prikaz slučaja ACLF-a precipitiranog vjerojatnom infekcijom hantavirusom Dobrava, kompliciranog hemoragijskim šokom, akutnim bubrežnim oštećenjem i smrtnim ishodom.
