Business Subsystem for Production Monitoring in Maritime Industry

Abstract

Modern companies cannot subsist without the effective organization of its business. In large companies effective organization is indispensable without informatization. The greater the company or more complex its business is, more complex its informatization is, starting from the computer network, to the structure of databases that are attempting to show business activity. Autonomous, special systems for the production are not sufficient, and more and more companies are implementing ERP systems. This paper, based on the analysis of the states, proposes the model of the production process as well as, the requirements to be fulfilled by ERP system module for production monitoring in maritime industry. Documents that appear in the production process are emphasized.
