CONCRETE EXPERIENCE AS A FIRM SUPPORT IN CREATING FORMAL, ABSTRACT THINKING

Abstract
Developing approach to the process of teaching/ learning is being discussed as necessary in modern teaching. Manipulatives as mighty tools have their effective role in strengthening the continuity of the process. Their right (appropriate) use is possible not only if there is a good control and skillfulness of the activity creator, but also projected prediction of what is expected after the activity, because it is their purpose to be good foundation in developing flexible thinking and usable system of knowledge.
