Development of Motorways in Croatia and Yugoslavia on the Treshold of the Nineties.

Abstract

The paper deals with the dynamism of motorway construction in Croatia and Yugoslavia in the 1970-1989 period, formation and factors of development in the road network, and characteristics and significance of the main motorway lines. Optimal developement of network and development role of motorways has been pointed out.
