Abstract

The author analyses rules of law regulating proprietary rights in inland navigation
vessels. Convention on the Registration of Inland Navigation Vessels, together with
two respective Protocols, is especially elaborated. Sources of Croatian internal law (Act
on Inland Navigation and Ports, Maritime Code) are also studied. He concludes that
Croatian internal law is not completely harmonised with abovementioned Convention.
Problem of simultaneously application of different legal sources is pointed out. Some
proposals for overcoming such problems are also made.
