Architect Josip Pičman’s Drawings

Abstract

The article presents and interprets the drawings made by the architect Josip Pičman (1904-1936) from the Pičman family collection displayed in 1998 at the architect’s retrospective exhibition at the Museum of Architecture in Zagreb. The dates of the drawings are mainly unknown except in the case of his last works which include phantasmagorias and masks. This study is a contribution to a monograph on the architect and his work that is being created seven decades after his death.
