Residents’ Views on the Features of Urban Planning in the Špansko-Oranice Estate in Zagreb

Abstract

The paper deals with residents’ attitudes to the features of urban planning in the Špansko-Oranice estate. The work was based on an empirical research with the use of questionnaires in collecting residents’ opinions. The residents were asked about the estate features relating to construction, ancillary and public facilities, pedestrian zones, parks, and traffic. The research determined
residents’ contentment with planners’ decisions that marked the features of their estate.
