Abstract

This article brings together fifty-three last testaments recorded by the Šibenik notary Pietrobono Pagano, originally from Venice. The testaments, which may be found in the State Archives in Zadar, date from 1436–1437. They contain rich data that give insight into religious life, social conditions and family relations in the town. For this reason, these testaments are valuable sources for the history of everyday life as well as the social and economic history of the medieval Šibenik.
