Abstract
This article presents arguments on children’s inclination to reason analytically, a skill which mainly develops when a 6-year-old child
begins to read and write. It investigates the results of the observations and comes to the conclusion that a 6-year-old child may shift from perceptive, motor activity to rational activity. This transition characterises the beginning of children’s analytical reasoning.
