MORE RECENT RESEARCH INTO THE KRINGA LOCAL VERNACULAR

Abstract

The paper gives the results of more recent research of the local vernacular of Kringa in the Istrian municipality of Tinjan on different dinstinctive levels. According to them, the vernacular of Kringa belongs to the imported South Western Istrian or štokavian-chakavian dialect.
