Abstract
The author presents a critical review on the psychology textbook for secon¬dary schools: a short survey of the contents, the positive and negative aspects of the book, and critical remarks. In the second part, the author threats the subject of three levels of psychical life: the psycho-physiological, the psycho-social, and the intellectual-spiritual levels. He is of the opinion that the intellectual-spiritual dimension of the human being has been the most neglected, especially since it is the most important one through which the individual gains dignity and man is defined as an autotranscendental being.
