Scope and Topics of the Journal The International Food Risk Analysis Journal (IFRAJ) is a publication destined to food safety and nutrition regulators, public health officials, and food industry experts. IFRAJ aims at gathering reports on the latest developments in risk assessments associated with current and emerging food chemical, microbiological and nutritional safety issues. IFRAJ also aims at making available both comprehensive risk assessment documents, as well as initial risk mapping and risk profiles developed by experts in these areas. Issue identification documents, publications pertaining to risk management option development and their analysis, as well as updates on the latest risk communication techniques related to food safety and nutrition will also be welcomed. This publication is supported by the Food Directorate at Health Canada and Food Standards Australia / New-Zealand (FSANZ). Audience IFRAJ aims to be a reference for food safety and nutrition regulatory experts, primarily gathering scientific assessments underpinning food regulatory decisions and their implementation. It will deliberately be an open access e-publication, available in both English and French, to increase the availability and dissemination of such information to users such as food regulators, public health officials and experts serving health professional groups, consumer organizations and the food industry.
