SIGURNOST (SAFETY) is a professional scientific journal for publication of articles and papers that are always reviewed by one domestic and one internationally known reviewer. In addition to reviewed articles, the journal publishes unreviewed comments, notes, presentations, experiences and opinions on a variety of subject matters. Papers must not be previouly published in another printed or electronic medium. The journal covers a wide range of topics including, among others, occupational safety, fire safety, traffic safety, environment protection and occupational medicine. It is the oldest professional journal of its kind in the country (in print from 1959), as well as in Southwest and Southeast Europe. SIGURNOST is published four times a year. Journal Sigurnost is financed by Ministry of science and education of the Republic of Croatia. The articles are referred in secodnary sources such as: Scopus (The SCImago Journal Rank), Academic Search Complete (EBSCO), ProQuest Bilogical & Health Science Professional, ProQuest Environmental Science Professional Engineering Abstracts, Articles are made accessible free of charge on the Net."
