Organization of the procurement process in the logistics system of the Company Podravka d.d.

Sažetak
Today, procurement is becoming an increasingly important
link in manufacturing companies, guided by fundamental knowledge
of logistics as a science and the correlation of procurement
with other within – organizational structures of manufacturing
companies. Procurement is an important business function that
at the organizational level aims to ensure optimal circulation of
raw materials from the place of production to the place of their
processing, monitoring the quality of raw materials and optimizing
the procurement process, as well as building trust with suppliers. The
process of procuring raw materials for the production of the finished
product will be described on the example of a real company in the food
industry, which will use the acquired knowledge in the theoretical part
of the work and approximately accurate internal company data to be
more easily supported by practical part.
