Sažetak
In review magnetic structures of two groups of rare earth compounds i.e. intermetallics of RT₂X₂–type and high T₍c₎–superconductors are discussed. In RT₂X₂ compounds a number of different magnetic ordering types of the rare earth sublattice is observed. The transition metal sublattice orders only in the case of Mn. In high T₍c₎–superconductors magnetic moments of Cu atoms order magnetically at high temperatures and an antiferromagnetic ordering in rare earth sublattices is observed at low temperatures. For both groups of compounds the observed magnetic structures are discussed in terms of exchange interactions and crystalline fields effects.
