Sažetak

The author discusses health problems of a domain where the spheres of the clinical toxicologist and of the psychiatrist overlap: the domain of work with suicidal persons and drug abusers. The topicality of this problem, now and in this country, is emphasized. Certain basic author's views on these phenomena are expounded. The necessity of their interdisciplinary treatment requires that experts, and other people who come in touch with them in practice, adopt certain common starting points in working in this domain.
