Sažetak

Due to its geographical position and diverse climate, soil, and topography, Republic of Croatia has an equally diverse and extremely rich medicinal flora, which has not been fully investigated and utilised, except in folk medicine. Some studies of medicinal and related flora in Croatia, that have been recorded, indicate many plant species containing coumarin, furocoumarin, and their derivatives. Well-known antibrucellous property of umbelliferone has focused even greater attention on coumarin derivatives containing flora.
