Sažetak

The paper provides some thoughts and ideas for the change of purpose and revitalisation of the building, which is discussed in the broader geographical and substantial context, covering the integration of the whole of the industrial complex of Belje, Kneževo and wider, for only in this way can the ideas of change of purpose and revitalisation be sustainable. For a comparison, some ideas for the renovation and protection of industrial processes elsewhere in Europe are adduced; they
can assist us greatly as guiding principle in this demanding but by all means feasible assignment.
