Sažetak

A brief outline is given of the mechanism of action, pharmacology and toxic effects of organophosporus cholinesterase inhibitors. Therapeutic possibilities with respect to antidotal application of atropine and oximes in organophosphorus poisoning are discussed in more detail. The importance of further investigation of this group of compounds from the theoretical and practical aspects is pointed out.
