Focal infection and rheumatic imflammation
Drago Čop
Sažetak
The question of rheumatic imflammation is almost identical with the question of focal infection. Rheumatic infections include all forms of acute and chronical diseases which have the same pathogeny. It is most probable that the point in the question is an alergic or hyperergie reaction of the organism. Rheumatic infections may be caused by various factors however the most frequent are streptococci which are to be found in the focus. The cure of the focus is to the undertaken as early as possible with protection of sulphonamid or penicillin.
