Sažetak
The author analyses the iconography, metrology and inscriptions on Bosnian coins minted by King Stjepan Tomaš during his reign between 1443 and 1461, as a continuation of the standard conceptual matrix established by the previous King Tvrtko II Tvrtković. The author has made a new classification of Tomaš’s coins on the basis of obverse and reverse designs as the main motifs, and the obverse and reverse marks beside them, taking into account the modifications of coats of arms, monograms, patron’s pastoral and the appearance of a third type of the letter D in the edge legends. Among types thus obtained, variants are singled out with the help of sigla alongside the top of the arms decoration. On the basis of historical data and the new classification it has been possible to define the periodisation and order of minting all the groschen, denars and half-denars of Stjepan Tomaš. The other coins that belong to this king have also been classified and periodised: the large four-ducat piece and the denars of his vassal, Serbian Despot Đurađ Branković.
