Sažetak

Each profession, including the "small" ones (geodetic profession belongs to the small ones because of the number of specialists, and not because of its importance and significance), should have at least one journal. Geodetski list has been the journal of geodetic profession for many years already. This year we celebrate the 80th anniversary of its being published with a few interruptions, and 57 years of continuous publication. Hence, it is classified among the oldest geodetic journals in the world. In those 80 years about 900 authors published their articles in 324 issues of Geodetski list. They published over 5.900 articles of scientific, professional and information character. The number of pages of Geodetski list published in the last 80 years runs up to 21.000 pages. This paper brings the successes and achievements, as well as wishes and perspectives of Geodetski list. At the end there is also the Bibliography of Geodetski list presented, encompassing the period from 1991–2002, and it was given as a present to all participants of the Ceremonius Meeting of the Assembly of the Croatian Geodetic Society in memory of the 80th anniversary.
