The paper presents the technical characteristics and operational capabilities of John Deer round (V400 series) and square (L600 series) balers and the John Deere C442R combined baler and wrapper in one pass. Baling is a key process in modern agriculture that enables efficient collection, compaction and storage of plant biomass. John Deere offers advanced models equipped with systems such as MaxiCut, IntelliBale and MegaWide Plus, which optimize bOverview of technical characteristics and operational capabilities of John Deere round and square balersGPS, IoT sensors and the Operations Center cloud platform – enables real-time bale tracking and management. The future of baling is directed towards full automation, the application of artificial intelligence and integration with precision agriculture.
