Sažetak

This paper analyzes the application of no-code tools in modern business information systems, with
an emphasis on their role in shaping business processes, automating repetitive tasks, connecting
digital tools, and increasing business transparency. The aim of the paper is to show how no-code
tools can be used as functional layers of an information system, depending on whether they are
used for data structuring, customer relationship management, project and task management, or
workflow automation. The paper analyzes the tools SmartSuite, Attio, ClickUp, Zapier, and Make,
while their application is further presented through a case study of the company Proprium d.o.o.,
in which SmartSuite and Make were used to connect operational work, centralize business data,
and automate processes. The analysis shows that the application of no-code tools can contribute
to greater organizational flexibility, standardization of work processes, reduced administrative
workload, and better availability of data for decision-making. Successful implementation requires
prior process mapping, a clearly defined data structure, documented procedures, access control, and
an understanding of the limitations of individual tools.
