Sažetak
The starting point of this article is the necessity for the establishment of pastoral planning at biblical and educational levels. Then it elaborates the concepts and themes related to planning and programming, together with their significance in long and short periods, presenting many advantages together with the statement
that the culture of individual planning has an impact on the approach to planning in a community. A clever pastoral management includes: competence of guidance, cooperative pastoral work, personal planning, material planning, planning of space and time, plan and programme. This should not be considered as an easy task. If we put ourselves in the position of those who listen to God’s message and seek for God’s will, we’ll probably come to the necessity for the determination of the real situation in which the faith is found, of the definition of the existence of a Christian and his/her community and of the means required to perform certain activities, as well as of the needy. However, one should bear in mind that, in the end, the Church is not our, but God’s project and His endeavour. He is and He remains the “head” of the constructing of the Church. And, unless the Lord build it, we who build labour in vain (Ps 127, 1).
