Sažetak

In the introduction to this article the author summarizes the history of Senj's statute and states that the transcription of Senj's statute by Vuk Ručić has not been adequately processed linguistically. So through these short articles he seeks to correct this problem. In this, the first article about Vuk Ručić's transcription of Senj's statute, there will be a phonological transcription of Senj’s statute, specifically its vocal system: vowels and vowel changes.
