Liability in contract during the transport of live animals by sea

Sažetak

The transport of live animals by sea is considered as a special transport. Live animals during transport are exposed to peculiar risks. Competent international conventions and national codes have specific solutions concerning this kind of goods. The author emphasized the specific juridical relations between the contractors based on international conventions and Croatian Maritime Code.
